The completely renewed authorisation module offers you, besides all existing possibilities, also the possibility to assign different rights per article file or to even refuse certain users. This module also has extensive possibilities to determine per user which columns can be viewed and/or modified. This is also possible at line level. With this, people can be made responsible for certain parts of the assortment. With this version you are free to define the assortment per person (formerly this was only possible based on “brand”). A powerful report function and extensive copy function also make the user management orderly and maintainable, while with this version your current settings will not get lost; all settings are automatically and completely copied to this new  module.

You no longer have to worry about your operating system in combination with DataProcessor; version 5.1 also works on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Do you work with several DataProcessor article files? Then the file choice at start up is probably a welcome addition. Besides your recently opened files (now 20 files in stead of 10) you can also choose for any random existing article file, where you have the choice to save log in data. Do you have authorisation also turned on? Then you simply choose the file you have access to. This file choice at start up is set standard, but can be switched of at any time.

In the new DataProcessor version the classification management screen is adjusted so you can also change the primary language (ProClass licence required). This way you can change article names, features and limiting values at your own discretion. Please take care that you do not change the underlying meaning of the parts that belong to the branch standard.

Furthermore the classification screen now has better possibilities to maintain serial numbers. You no longer have to go along all the features to increase serial numbers when you want to add a new feature, or to adjust serial numbers when you want to move a limiting value. When you give one part a new serial number, DataProcessor will adjust the concerning serial numbers automatically.

It is now possible to simply filter on all articles that do not appear in your AutoPub catalogue. For this DataProcessor uses the last opened AutoPub file. You can then add additional filters and modify articles as per usual.

Previous DataProcessor versions demanded sysadmin rights for users in case of a Microsoft SQL Server article file, because the classification file and import files can be approached with this. From version 5.1 we use a full alternative, so your users no longer have to be marked as sysadmin.
